This is what I received in my VGBOX. Can anyone justify why I have to pay $40 for this? A complete let down.

Unfortunately a lot of the mandarins were inedible because they were so sour also quite a few of the apples were rotten inside ☹️

The fruit box is always a surprise! Some fruit I would not normally purchase, so it has opened up my view and taste buds. There is a nice variety of apples available. It is just good to eat fresh fruit in season!

A bit disappointed on our 3rd delivery(hence no photos) , now 2 days late and nothing from anyone even after I've sent 2 messages enquiring. So I've cancelled my auto renewal for next week. Hopefully will get our order soon, otherwise will need our $59 refund and no fruit and veg for this week.

Ordered a consolidation of 4 boxes to help Mangawhai Gardens make their delivery easier, so I compiled local orders and consolidated them into 4 boxes. The delivery was changed several times and each time I let people know when their order was to arrive. Twice it did not turn up... over more than a week. Then they kept to their third promise, but they only delivered 1 of 4 boxes. With all the hassle and delays people had obtained their needs elsewhere and didn't wish to continue with their orders, so I immediately cancelled the remaining three undelivered boxes by email as I have ordered them. I also texted them to confirm cancellation as I had not heard from them, but they responded to let me know that I should keep to one form of communication (even though they ask for orders by email and text delivery). After more than a day, they texted me to inform they had located the undelivered boxes, and would be delivering next day. I emailed and texted to confirm that I had cancelled the order as they were no longer required by the neighbours. They ignored my communications and at 9.30pm they texted me that my order was at the top of my drive!
I immediately texted back to "take them back, They are not wanted and order cancelled over 2 days ago... SURPRISE - no answer, and the boxes were still there half an hour later. Why they did not put them on our doorstep and ring the bell like they did previously proves they were aware they were cancelled and didn't care about our needs... just theirs! We have cancelled all future orders and will never use this company again. We had 4 boxes of produce that was mostly given to neighbours but we paid top price for pathetic produce. The lettuce was good, the spinach also was good. Tomatoes were very soft and marked, only good for cooking. pumpkin was premature, three small plums were ok, 3 apples were a joke along with 3 mini pears, avocado were green, but ripened eventually, not as good as supermarket ones. Potatoes and carrots were good. overall summary "Not Happy" with produce value, quality nor service. Unfortunately I recommended this company to many neighbours who will no longer use them also for the same reasons... made me look like a fool recommending them... NEVER AGAIN!

This is my first and last order. I literally have to throw half of them into the bin. All the fruit and vege were taste like they’ve been sitting in the box for ages. I can’t taste the “fresh” at all. I have to say this is the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had.
