The 1 kg bag was much larger than I expected so I split it into 3 and shared it with friends.
The basil was super fragrant and it was easy to strip the leaves into my measuring jug. I made 4 batches of basil pesto, varying the nuts from pine nuts to pistachios to almonds. and also 2 batches of spinach and basil pesto.

The basil was fresh and well packaged to stay dry. I turned it into spinach and basil pesto for spreading on my toast uner sliced tomoatoes. MMM mmm
